3 Steps for Building Your Morning Routine

A morning routine is very important for everyone. How you start your day has an impact on the rest of your day. You don't have to have a 3 hr productive routine but you should have a few habits that you do that benefit you. Here are 3 steps to building a better morning routine.

A morning routine consists of habits. to start creating your routine, choose your habits. Keep in mind that these are the first things you are going to do. So avoid habits like going on your phone and instead choose one of the following examples:

~ Make your bed

~ Drink water

~ Read

~ Exercise

~ Journal/ Devotional

~ Shower


Now that you have your chosen habits it's time to start doing them. Remember Habits don't form overnight so be patient. Include one or two habits at a time. If you're trying to get rid of a bad habit try replacing it with a good one. For example, instead of using your phone, you can exercise.


In order to keep these habits, you have to do them every morning. After 30 days it becomes a habit. If you skip a day don't worry just add another day to your 30 days. The good thing is that our morning routine is our strongest routine so forming habits on it is a great place.
