3 Tips for Managing Stress During Finals

It's the time of the year when we are so closer to summer, but we have to get through the crazy journey of final exams. I don't know about you but I get pretty stressed just at the thought of exams and then when they happen it's worse. Well, I want to share 3 tips that can help you manage that stress. Comment your tips!

1. Practice Self-Care

Even though it is finals week it doesn't mean push your needs aside. In fact, taking time away from your computer can help. Make sure you schedule out some time from your studying to go for a walk, eat a snack, do a workout, etc. Do NOT stay up super late. Research shows that those who get a good night's sleep have better memory and concentration. It's important to remember to get a good night's sleep, drink water, and eat good energy-giving food.

2. Study and Ask for Help

I know, I know. "Study? ask for help?" Sometimes we forget that studying properly will save us a ton of stress and anxiety while taking a final exam. I strongly suggest finding a studying technique that works for you. and don't be intimidated to ask for help, find a study partner. rather it's through facetime, in person, or over email.

3. Make a Plan and Get Started

Create a plan for finals, get organized, and just start. Write out each thing you need to study and prepare. Sort it out in order of priority, and practice for timed sections. as always the Pomodoro technique is useful. Do not procrastinate, procrastination only brings stress and frustration. If you have any questions related to this blog post send me an email! I would love to help you succeed in managing your stress!

Take a deep breath. Try your best!
