It's the official time for part 2! If you haven't checked out part 1 go ahead and do that. Today I have 4 chrome extensions to make working on your desktop easier and more aesthetic. Please remember that this is not a paid sponsorship. Let's begin with my favorite.
1. Momentum
Momentum Dashboard replaces your new tabs with a clock, to-do list, weather, and inspiration. It helps you stay focused and adds a little aesthetic to your day with a new picture. Example of momentum in the image. Using momentum has made my school day
much easier. I recommend you guys try this out! One of my favorite thing about it is how every day you get a new beautiful landscape picture.
2. Picture-in-Picture
Picture-in-picture allows you to watch a video in a floating window on a different tab. This is useful for when I have to write a response to a video lecture. I can watch the video and write my response in the same tab. Even if you just want to watch a YouTube video while doing something else this comes in use.
3. Pomodoro Timer
Focus To-Do: Pomodoro Timer & To-Do List Is a science-based app that will help you stay focused. It combines the Pomodoro technique and time management. I have mostly been using it just for the timer but it offers more uses. This extension is even available as an app for your phone. I love using the Pomodoro Technique- as you already know if you follow me on Instagram. In the future, I will be writing more about what the Pomodoro technique is.
4. PostureMinder
PostureMinder reminds you to sit up straight. If you are anything like me you catch yourself slouching through the day. Especially now that you are constantly sitting at your desk on a computer. It reminds you by pop up notifications, you can select how often you wish to see this notification. I chose to be reminded every 15 minutes.
