With final exams and the busy holiday season, I understand that stress can creep in. I'm writing this to remind you to find peace. Finding peace can sometimes be challenging and sometimes we feel finding peace has to be a long vacation away from our stresses. But peace is a mental state of calm. I will be giving you examples and guidance to find pockets of peace.
Finding peace doesn't have to be this huge gesture of self-care; sometimes, it is and that's wonderful. Other times we don't have time to binge-watch a whole show. But we do have time for small moments of calm. Focusing on the small moments and including small moments of peace can really help.
I'm going to share with you ways you can include things that bring peace and joy to your life. Remember to not put pressure on yourself if you don't find peace instantly in things. God is peace and he is the one that can bring you peace.
Things to try:
Try including things like journaling. Journaling allows you to dump out your emotions and to think. Another thing to try is being present. Most of the time we find peace in just being, not overthinking. Putting your phone down and talking with the people in your home or if you live alone call a family member. Even just eating your breakfast without going on your phone is relaxing.
Taking breaks is a great way to find peace especially with finals. Take a step back eat a snack, drink water, put music on, or read a book. When you take a break, step away from your desk. Get out of the work mindset and breathe.
I hope you remember to take the time to find those pockets of peace. I only gave some examples but there are many more things to do. And if you would like more posts like this let me know. If you liked this post comment and like. Remember new stuff coming soon.
